This Privacy Policy explains how Nevronus Systems ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Poultry Pal mobile application (the "App"). Poultry Pal is a poultry-farm management tool that provides medicine reminders, AI-assisted disease detection, flock and batch records, and printable reports. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1Summary
Poultry Pal is designed to be "offline-first." Most of the information you enter — your medicine alarms, batches, treatment history, and reports — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless a feature you use requires it. Some features rely on optional cloud services:
- Signing in with Google (optional) lets you back up certain settings and manage a premium subscription.
- The AI disease-detection feature uploads the photo you capture to a processing service to return a diagnosis.
- We use standard Google services for analytics, crash reporting, messaging, and advertising.
We do not sell your personal information. The sections below explain exactly what is collected, how long it is kept, and how you can have it deleted.
2Information we collect
a. Account information (only if you sign in)
Signing in is optional and is done through Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in, we receive and store your Google account's email address, display name, and profile photo URL, along with a unique account identifier (Firebase UID) used to link your subscription and synced settings.
b. Farm and flock data you enter
Information you create in the App, such as medicine alarm names, shed/batch numbers, bird age, medicine names and dosages, schedules, administrator notes, farm names, batch types and start dates, treatment history, and generated prescriptions/reports. This is stored on your device (see Section 4) and is not transmitted to us except as described in Sections 5 and 6.
c. Disease-detection images
When you use the AI Lab feature, the photo you capture or select is processed to identify possible poultry diseases (see Section 6).
d. Subscription and purchase data
If you buy a premium subscription, purchase and entitlement information is processed by Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. We store a simple flag indicating whether your account is premium; we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
e. Usage, diagnostic, and device information
Through Google's SDKs we collect app-usage analytics, crash and performance diagnostics, and technical identifiers (such as an app-instance ID, device model, operating-system version, and an advertising identifier) to keep the App working, understand feature usage, and serve ads.
3How we use information
- To provide core features: medicine reminders, batch tracking, disease detection, and report generation.
- To authenticate you and sync your premium status and selected settings across reinstalls or devices.
- To process subscription purchases and restore them.
- To diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve the App.
- To display advertising (including, where required, only after you provide consent).
- To improve the accuracy of our disease-detection model (see Section 6).
- To communicate service messages and respond to your requests.
4On-device storage
Poultry Pal stores the majority of your data in a local database on your device (SQLite via Drift) and in local app preferences. This includes your medicine alarms, treatment history, prescriptions/reports, cached reference content (disease and medicine information), previously used farm names for autocomplete, and your cached profile details. This on-device data remains under your control and is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the App (see Section 8).
5Third-party services
We rely on the following service providers, each of which processes limited data under its own privacy policy:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, In-App Messaging, Installations) | Sign-in, syncing premium status/settings, analytics, crash reporting, push and in-app messages | Email, name, photo URL, account ID, premium status, usage & diagnostic data, device identifiers |
| Cloudflare R2 | Storing disease-detection images to review and improve model accuracy | Poultry photos you submit through the AI Lab |
AI diagnosis service (smaron-poultry.hf.space) | Processing a submitted image to return a disease prediction | The image you capture/select for diagnosis |
| RevenueCat | Managing and validating subscriptions | Account ID, purchase and entitlement data |
| Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform | Serving ads and gathering ad-consent where required | Advertising identifier, consent status |
| Google Play Billing | Processing payments | Purchase transaction data (handled by Google) |
For details, see the Google Privacy Policy, the RevenueCat Privacy Policy, and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
6Camera & disease-detection images
The AI Lab lets you photograph droppings or affected birds to receive a possible disease diagnosis. Depending on the mode, the App may run an on-device model and/or upload the image to our AI diagnosis service for processing. Submitted images may be retained in our secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) to help us review results and improve the accuracy of the model.
These images are of poultry and their surroundings and are not intended to contain personal information. Please avoid capturing people, faces, documents, or other personal details in the frame. You may request deletion of images you have submitted (see Section 8). AI predictions are provided for guidance only and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.
7Data retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, and we retain different categories of data for different periods:
- Data stored on your device (alarms, batches, treatment history, prescriptions/reports, cached content, and preferences) is retained on your device until you delete it in the App, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the App. We do not control how long it remains once it is only on your device.
- Account information (email, name, photo URL, and account ID) is retained for as long as you keep an account with us. If you request account deletion, or if your account is inactive for 24 months, we delete it.
- Synced settings and premium status stored in Firestore are retained while your account is active and are deleted when your account is deleted.
- Disease-detection images uploaded for processing/model improvement are retained for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted or fully anonymized, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Subscription and purchase records are retained by RevenueCat and Google Play for as long as required to manage your subscription and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Analytics and diagnostic data are retained according to Google's standard periods — generally up to 14 months for Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics and up to 90 days for Crashlytics crash reports.
Where we are required to keep certain records longer to comply with the law, we retain them only for that required period.
8Data deletion & your rights
You can delete your data at any time:
Delete data stored on your device
You can delete individual alarms, history entries, and reports directly within the App. To remove all on-device data, sign out and then clear the app's storage from your device settings (Settings → Apps → Poultry Pal → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the App.
Request deletion of your account and cloud data
To request deletion of your account and any associated data we hold in the cloud — including your account profile (email, name, photo URL), synced settings and premium flag, and any disease-detection images you submitted — send a request to the email address below:
Email: info@nevronus.com
Subject line: Poultry Pal Data Deletion Request
Please send your request from the email address associated with your account, or include the account email so we can verify your identity.
Request data deletionWe will verify your request, delete the relevant data, and confirm completion within 30 days. Some information may be retained where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax purposes) or in de-identified form that can no longer be linked to you. Data held by Google (analytics, crash logs) and by payment processors is subject to their own deletion timelines and controls.
Other rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent (for example, ad personalization consent, which you can change through the in-app privacy options). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@nevronus.com.
9Device permissions
The App may request the following permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:
- Camera / Photos: to capture or select images for AI disease detection.
- Notifications: to deliver medicine-reminder alarms and service messages.
- Exact alarms & battery optimization: to ring medicine reminders reliably at the scheduled time on Android.
- Storage: to save and share generated PDF reports.
You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without them.
10Children's privacy
Poultry Pal is intended for poultry farmers and agricultural professionals and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and access-controlled cloud storage, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
