About LuneraiScan
Diabetic retinopathy is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness, and in Bangladesh most people living with diabetes never get a retinal check. LuneraiScan brings screening to where patients are.
The system combines the Lunera Fundus Cam, a smartphone attachment, with our Android app and AI models. Health workers capture retinal images with a guided, auto-capturing camera; the AI screens for diabetic retinopathy and other retinal conditions; and a report is generated on the spot. What used to take weeks of referrals can now happen in a single visit.
LuneraiScan is developed by Nevronus Systems and delivered through our sister concern Lunera Eye Care with on-site training and support.
LuneraiScan is a screening tool. Diagnosis and treatment decisions remain with qualified clinicians.
